*****Jasper Ankle, the Opera’s humble janitor, becomes obsessed with the understudy Ortenzia Destino when he hears her sing for the first time. Suddenly, the lead is mysteriously poisoned by a box of chocolates, and Ortenzia must take her place. From that performance she becomes a star. Almost overnight everyone wants a piece of Destino. Jasper sees that it is sucking the life out of her. He makes it his mission, his obsession, to save her from everyone including herself.

*****Henry bellows is, to be fair, a painfully awkward social moron. However, he has an amazing gift, he is a genius whistler. Unfortunately, the kids at his new school do not appreciate his talent. He is abused, which makes him go to any length to fit in. Finally, Henry realizes that people will accept him if he can just be himself. Henry couldn’t have been more wrong, but don’t worry, geek love prevails in the end.

*****Before he is taken to a care facility, a man ravaged by Alzheimers spends his last day at home remembering with his son. They have never had much of a relationship until the Alzheimers gave them a chance to start over. The film’s narrative mimics the man’s mental state, showing the past but never leaving the present. It also sheds new perspective on this tragic disease.

After a scuffle with some Marxists, Rodney stands to loose the most important thing in the world to him: dorm-life with the students. Rodney must find a way to right his wrongs before he is expelled forever.

*****After the apocalypse, a boy trying to survive finds himself the slave of an evil sorcerer. The boy is kept as the sorcerer’s slave and subject to his sadistic cruelty. One day, the boy’s hand lashes out on its own accord. The hand leads him to investigate the source of the sorcerer’s powers which are revealed to be an illusion. Led by the alien in his hand, the boy rebels, killing the old man. Desperate and scared, the boy severs his own hand and buries it. However, it is not the last he sees of the alien hand.
